Intimate Wedding | Liz & Tom
When Liz reached out to me about photographing their special day, the original idea was a backyard wedding. Located in the Chicago suburbs, her parent's house was the place they decided to say "I do". I couldn't be more excited that the plans changed and they moved the ceremony inside this lovely home, full of books, memories, and love.
Surrounded by their families, they celebrated their love in an intimate way, officialized by their moms with beautiful words. All I kept thinking about while photographing was how special it was to get married in the house you grew up in. All the memories those walls witnessed, her little feet that once walked on those wooden floors, today walk alongside her husband's.
I am very thankful for being able to capture these memories that will be forever cherished. A special thanks to this amazing couple for choosing me to be there.
